I recently read the results of a survey on eWeek that ask 1500 IT professionals if they would accept a 10% cut in pay provided they were given the opportunity to work from home;

And the survey says: 37% would accept.

I just completed a day and a half training on BuildForge. BuildForge was recently acquired by IBM and added to their Rational suite of software development and process control tools. I was impressed with the tool's approach. This tool is not for the faint at heart it comes with a substantial price tag, but for medium and large IT shops it could be just what you need to automate your build and deployment.
